Job summary

MAC Midwest in Monticello, MN is seeking a Behavior Therapist to provide one-on-one and group ABA-based therapy for learners aged 18 months to 21 years. You will work under a Center Supervisor to implement individualized treatment plans and support skill development.

The role emphasizes data collection, documentation, progress monitoring, and collaboration with families. A background in ABA and a passion for autism care are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred.
• Willingness to obtain an RBT certification if you are hired as a level 3 BT.
• Interest in working with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and ability to follow clinical direction.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
• Provide direct therapy services in a center-based setting.
• Teach communication, social, daily living, play, and adaptive skills.
• Utilize ABA teaching strategies including reinforcement, prompting, shaping, and behavior reduction techniques.
• Collect session data and complete required documentation using an iPad.
• Monitor learner progress and report observations to the BCBA supervisor.
• Collaborate with families and team members to support learner goals.
• Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive therapy environment.
