Job summary

United Care ABA-New York is seeking a Behavior Technician to support ABA therapy in home and center settings. You will work under a BCBA to implement individualized interventions and help clients develop communication and daily living skills.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children.
• Willingness to pursue RBT certification within first months of employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in psychology or related fields is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Dependability, attention to detail, and ability to follow clinical guidance.
• Long-term interest in growing within ABA, including pursuing advanced roles such as Behavior Technician and BCBA.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with children under supervision of a BCBA to implement ABA therapy.
• Follow treatment plans and interventions to improve communication, behavior, and daily living skills.
• Accurately record session data and provide feedback to supervisors.
• Build strong, consistent relationships with clients and families.
• Maintain professionalism and compassion in all interactions.
• Participate in team meetings and complete required training.
