Job summary

Connect ABA + Therapy in New Jersey seeks compassionate Behavior Technician to support children with autism and developmental disabilities. You’ll implement individualized ABA programs under a BCBA, work across home, school, and community settings, and help clients learn essential life skills with data-driven progress tracking.

Travel is required to client sites; the role emphasizes collaboration, confidentiality, and ongoing professional development in ABA practices to ensure positive outcomes

Responsibilities

• Implement customized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) designed by the BCBA to meet client needs.
• Work one-on-one with clients using ABA methods, such as discrete trial training (DTT), naturalistic teaching, and behavior management techniques.
• Record and document client behavior and progress with the tools and systems provided.
• Support clients in building skills related to communication, social interaction, self-care, and daily living.
• Create an encouraging and positive learning environment, promoting client engagement and autonomy.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and other professionals to monitor progress and ensure consistency in implementing plans across settings.
• Maintain clear communication with families, caregivers, and team members, providing updates and sharing important information.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with ABA practices and techniques.
