Job summary

Woodland Park School District RE-2 in Colorado is seeking a Register Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students with Autism and related needs in the school setting. The RBT will implement behavior analytic services under supervision, collect data, and contribute to reducing challenging behaviors.

Responsibilities include 1:1 and small group interventions, collaboration with the Behavior Specialist and BCBA, assisting with staff training, and maintaining a safe, respectful learning

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must possess or be eligible for RBT credential within 6 months of hire.
• Experience with children ages 0-16 in classroom or 1:1 setting.
• Preferred experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Criminal background check and district fingerprinting required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct behavioral intervention in 1:1 and group settings; follow and record data for training protocols.
• Communicate with school staff regarding student progress as instructed by a BCBA/Behavior Specialist.
• Assist with skill acquisition and behavior reduction assessments.
• Assist with staff training aligned to individual Behavior Intervention Plans.
• Support students in times of crisis.
• Attend professional development and maintain required certifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
