Job summary

Verbal Beginnings in Lanham, MD is seeking a Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for full-time, in-person work at our ABA centers. You will support children with autism through one-on-one sessions under a BCBA, implementing individualized treatment plans to build communication and daily living skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation is required.
• Patience, compassion and commitment to helping children with autism.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a care team.

Responsibilities

• As a BT or RBT, you will work one-on-one with children under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans addressing communication, behavior, and daily living skills.
• Collect and record precise data to track progress and inform treatment updates.
• Collaborate with your clinical supervisor to ensure high-quality care for every child.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
