Job summary

Epic Minds Therapy in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician (RBT) to work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing ABA techniques under BCBA supervision to support progress.

You will collect data, conduct assessments, maintain HIPAA-compliant records, and collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to deliver holistic, client-centered care.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Knowledge of ABA techniques and applications.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation, and records management.
• Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
• Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and team members.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA standards.
• A background in special education or related fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide direct support to children and individuals with developmental disabilities in various settings.
• Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals.
• Assist in patient assessments and intake processes to gather relevant information.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in behavioral health and special education.
• Support clients in developing social skills, communication, and daily living skills.
