Job summary

TheraCare in Danbury, CT is seeking a Behavior Technician / RBT to deliver one-to-one ABA therapy to children and youth in home and community settings under BCBA supervision. This role offers flexible scheduling (full-time or part-time), paid onboarding and training toward RBT certification, and opportunities for professional development in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• Experience with children or individuals with special needs.
• Ability to travel within assigned region.
• Willingness to complete RBT certification and ongoing professional training.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to follow clinical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to youth ages 2–21 in home and community settings.
• Implement treatment plans and behavior strategies set by a BCBA.
• Collect and record client progress data using designated systems.
• Support communication, social, and functional living skills.
• Maintain regular communication with supervisors, families, and team members.
• Participate in ongoing training and clinical supervision.
