Job summary

Acorn Health is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician to deliver 1:1 ABA therapy under the supervision of BCBA clinicians. You will work with children on the autism spectrum in various settings and help implement individualized treatment plans.

Starting pay is $18 per hour with potential increases after certification. Benefits include paid time off, holidays, health insurance options, retirement plan, and ongoing RBT training to support career growth.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience working with children preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in psychology or related field.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Should enjoy working on an interdisciplinary team and collaborating with others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 direct ABA treatment to clients under supervision of the BCBA.
• Collect data and document client records to monitor progress.
• Work closely with supervising BCBA and team members to ensure high-quality service.
• Support parent and caregiver training as directed by the BCBA.
• Communicate regularly with parents, supervisor(s), and others to inform and improve treatment plans.
• Provide services to clients in center, home, school, or other location(s) as clinically indicated
