Job summary

Sunrise ABA in Salem, Oregon is seeking compassionate Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children under the supervision of a BCBA. You’ll help children develop communication, social, and daily living skills while collecting data and celebrating progress along the way.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Behavioral Science, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience working with children is preferred.
• RBT certification preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel between client locations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Independent yet collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA treatment plans under supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide one-on-one therapy in various settings around Salem.
• Use positive reinforcement to support skill development.
• Collect accurate data and document progress.
• Communicate observations to the supervising BCBA.
• Collaborate with caregivers and educators to ensure consistency.
• Support development of communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development.
• Receive supervision and feedback from your BCBA.
• Build positive relationships with clients and families.
