Job summary

ABA Centers of Virginia in Washington, DC is hiring Behavior Technicians to deliver ABA therapy under BCBA supervision. Starting pay is $24.60/hour for RBTs and $22.25/hour for BTs, with referral bonuses of $500 for an RBT and $5,000 for a BCBA.

We offer paid training, mentorship, and a path for advancement through the ABA Academy of Excellence to prepare for the RBT exam. Benefits include 21 paid days off, medical/dental/vision, a 401(k) with match, mileage reimbursement, and bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles).
• Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues as needed.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills under BCBA supervision.
• Track progress and maintain quality by documenting session data.
• Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families; participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
