Job summary

ABS Kids is seeking Behavior Technicians for an evening shift (3:00pm–7:00pm) to support children with autism. No experience is required; on-the-job training is provided and a $1,000 bonus is offered for current RBTs. We offer paid certification, mileage reimbursement, 401(k) with match, PTO and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs.
• Heart for helping kids and a calm, steady presence.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations.
• Tech savviness to learn data collection software and basic office tools.

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the life of a child.
• Use ABA therapy to teach real-life skills.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff.
• Help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, social, and emotional skills.
• Get up and down off floor often, move quickly.
