Job summary

Lighthouse is seeking passionate Behavior Technicians to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will build relationships with children and families, supporting growth and improved quality of life through evidence-based interventions.

As part of our warm, collaborative team, you will conduct data-driven sessions, maintain detailed notes, and participate in ongoing training to enhance your ABA skills.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Interest in completing the RBT certification process (candidates who are already registered are preferred).
• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with individuals on the autism spectrum preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA therapy techniques under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions following individualized treatment plans.
• Teach and reinforce social, communication, and behavioral skills in a structured environment.
• Foster a positive therapeutic relationship with clients and promote independence.
• Conduct assessments, collect data, and track progress for treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate with BCBA and interdisciplinary team to review progress and modify plans.
• Communicate with parents/caregivers about goals, progress, and home strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and data.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development in ABA therapy.
