Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians in Portland, Maine. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA and using evidence-based techniques to teach essential skills.

You will receive comprehensive training and join a supportive team focused on helping children reach their full potential. The role involves physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds, and offers a competitive pay

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Be patient, compassionate and able to work in a team.
• Engage in activities that may require standing, walking, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.
