Job description

Join to apply for the ABA Behavior Technician Joining Perks role at DV Therapy Inc.

DV Therapy Inc is currently seeking qualified, dedicated and compassionate professionals to provide in-clinic Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children, youth, and young adults with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities. ABA is a brand new service line for our clinics, and we are eager to build our founding team of clinicians to support our clients.

Our mission is to better serve our communities and provide a place where individuals can foster skills to effectively communicate with loved ones and peers to engage in socially meaningful experiences across their lifespan. DV Therapy Inc offers speech, occupational, and applied behavior analysis to infants, children, and adults across environments.

At DV Therapy Inc we are focused on ensuring the following are held for our employees throughout time:

  • Promoting Success: We believe that placing employees in roles and positions where they are most successful ultimately provides our clients with the highest quality of service.
  • Investing: We invest in our employees, through mentorship, ongoing feedback, and ongoing training.

What You'll Do:

  • As a behavior technician, you will work directly with children with special needs (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorder) in our ABA clinic and in a variety of other settings where the client and their family will maximally benefit.
  • Behavior technicians will utilize DV Therapy Inc’s modified ABA strategies/techniques to build skill repertoires (e.g., social communication, socialization, etc.) to thereby reduce challenging behaviors.
  • Behavior technicians are provided with high quality training, with an emphasis on hands-on learning. Training and support will occur throughout your time at DV Therapy Inc, to consistently expose staff to the most cutting-edge approaches to best support our clients.
  • Behavior technicians will be supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and receive ongoing training/feedback throughout time.
  • Behavior technicians will also record data in multiple forms to determine the effectiveness of a treatment plan and allow for the most effective intervention to be designed by the BCBA following DV Therapy Inc’s 10 commandments.
  • Other administrative tasks may be assigned as needed (e.g., creating stimuli for clients).

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum high school degree or equivalent, college courses preferred.
  • Must pass background check.
  • Reliable car, proof of auto insurance and valid driver's license required.
  • TB test required.
  • Bachelor's or enrollment in a B.A. or B.S program preferred.
  • ABA experience preferred.
  • Exposure to children or a passion for learning more!
  • RBT certification a plus.

Benefits:

  • DV offers paid training which will lean heavily on hands-on learning.
  • In-clinic environment, minimizing commuting.
  • Behavior Technicians will also receive incentives for earning RBT certificate.
  • Competitive pay.
  • BCBA supervision hours offered to eligible employees.
  • 9 days accrued PTO (eligible for part-time and full-time employees).
  • Professional Liability Insurance.
