Job summary

To the Moon PLLC seeks a Registered Behavior Technician in Virginia to support individuals with behavioral needs under BCBA supervision. You will implement behavior intervention plans, collect and analyze data, and provide direct behavioral support in clinic, school, or home settings.

Responsibilities include collaboration with the BCBA, thorough documentation, and training caregivers on plan implementation. CPR/BLS is required; RBT certification is preferred or obtainable within a set timeframe.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some roles may prefer a bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• RBT certification preferred or willingness to obtain within timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of Behavior Plans: Implement behavior intervention plans developed by the BCBA to address specific behavioral goals of clients.
• Data Collection and Analysis: Accurately record data on client behavior during sessions to track progress and outcomes of interventions.
• Behavioral Support: Provide direct support to clients during scheduled sessions, utilizing positive reinforcement and other approved behavior modification techniques.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency in the implementation of behavior plans and discuss client progress.
• Documentation: Maintain thorough and organized documentation of client progress, behavior incidents, and any changes in behavior plans.
• Training and Education: Assist in teaching new skills and behaviors to clients and provide training to caregivers or family members on implementation techniques.
