Job summary

ABA Insight in Monroe, MI is seeking Behavior Technicians to provide center-based and in-home ABA services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The role involves implementing treatment plans under supervision of a BCBA, collecting data, and supporting skill development in home, school, and community settings.

Candidates must meet minimum requirements, including a high school diploma, background checks, and the ability to travel within a 30-mile radius.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass background checks and trainings.
• Willing to lift up to 50 pounds and perform varied postures.
• Willing to drive within a 30-mile radius for visits.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Must have access to email and phone.

Responsibilities

• Follows a treatment plan developed by supervising BCBA and collaborates with treatment team.
• Prompts safe and socially appropriate behaviors to build communication, social interaction, and problem solving skills.
• Adheres to standards for data collection, therapy documentation, and professional conduct.
• Performs tasks requested by the supervising BCBA within BT role boundaries.
• Communicates client progress and changes with the supervising BCBA.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
• Facilitates client daily needs including feeding, toileting, dressing.
• Maintains a clean/sanitized and organized therapy space.
• Follows organizational policies and required trainings.
• Adheres to HIPAA and ethics guidelines.
