Job summary

Heredia Therapy Group in California is seeking a Behavior Technician (BT) to support adolescents with Autism and other developmental or cognitive disabilities. You will implement ABA-based interventions, collect progress data, and assist with parent training in clients' homes and community settings.

Requirements include a high school diploma, willingness to travel within the community, reliable transportation, and a background check.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma is required.
• Language: Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.
• Certification: RBT certification is a plus but not required.
• Skills: Effective time management, openness to feedback, and a willingness to grow.
• Licensing & Transportation: Valid CA driver’s license, reliable transportation, and valid auto insurance.
• Travel: Ability and willingness to travel within the community for sessions.
• Background: Willingness to complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavioral intervention plans rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Work primarily in clients' homes and community settings, with occasional clinic work.
• Collect data on client progress, assist with parent training, and support clinical assessments.
