Job summary

Lighthouse is a NYC-based agency providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children with autism. We are seeking passionate Behavior Technicians to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.

You will implement individualized treatment plans, teach social and communication skills, and collaborate with the BCBA and families to support growth and independence. Evening and weekend availability is often required to accommodate client schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ABA therapy experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA therapy techniques under BCBA supervision.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions following individualized treatment plans.
• Teach social, communication, and behavioral skills in a structured environment.
• Foster a positive therapeutic relationship with clients and families.
• Conduct assessments, collect data, and track progress.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team to adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Communicate with parents/caregivers about goals, progress, and strategies for generalization of skills to the home setting.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress notes.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities in ABA therapy.
