Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician to provide Applied Behavior Analysis therapy for children and young adults with autism and developmental disabilities. You will support social and communication skill development and implement individualized plans under supervision, with visits mainly at clients' homes and some in schools.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with Special Needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college education optional.
• Minimum of one year relevant experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain.
• Computer proficiency required.
• Big heart, patience, and ability to keep up with energetic kiddos.

Responsibilities

• Help kids learn and grow: build social and communication skills; address repetitive behaviors.
• Implement goals and programs in the individualized Behavior Plan designed by our BCBA.
• Document progress and milestones using a mobile app, following Behavior Plans and instructions from BCBA/Program supervisor.
• Provide services primarily in client’s homes, with some sessions in local schools as needed.
• Support families as part of a team delivering true behavior support services and crisis intervention.
