Job summary

Catholic Charities of Central Washington is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide direct ABA services to children aged 2-6 in a clinic-based setting in Yakima, WA. The role supports families and collaborates with BCBAs to implement individualized programs and data collection.

Responsibilities include data recording, lead activities under supervision, and maintaining a safe therapeutic environment while adhering to HIPAA and program policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of preschool-children behavioral/developmental experience preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Must be willing to obtain a Certified Behavior Technician license with WA Dept of Health.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA procedures under BCBA supervision.
• Provide ABA services in natural and therapeutic environments.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment for children and families.
• Collect and record data for targets and goals.
• Lead therapeutic activities under BCBA supervision.
• Participate in team discussions about client programs.
• Observe confidentiality and HIPAA standards.
• Report suspected child abuse following mandated reporting protocols.
