Job summary

Fulton County Schools seeks a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) paraprofessional to support instruction in the Services for Exceptional Children Specialized Behavior Support Program classroom and possibly in home settings. The role involves implementing behavior plans, data collection, and assisting with parent training under supervision of a Teacher and Program Administrator/Principal.

Requires 40-hour training completion to obtain RBT certification; 210-day salary schedule plus a $3,500

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must pass the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment within 1 year from date of hire.
• Must complete the RBT certification requirements.
• Experience with behavior support programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implements specific behavior plans as assigned by the Teacher/BI.
• Collects data and uses reports to improve student behavior.
• Assists with preparation of materials and data collection tools.
• Supports teachers with academic instruction and classroom activities.
• Maintains records and completes required training.
