Job summary

Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic, Children’s Village in Yakima, WA, seeks a Certified Behavior Technician to provide Applied Behavior Analysis services for children with ASD in home, school, day programs, and community settings.

The role includes data collection, behavior reduction, and individualized program implementation under supervision, with bilingual pay and employer-paid health insurance as part of a supportive team within a large multispecialty health system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Psychology, Behavioral Analysis, Developmental Psychology, Special Education, or related field preferred.
• Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental disabilities preferred.
• BCBA/LBA supervision completion within required timeframe is expected.
• BLS certification within 45 days of hire; FBI fingerprints required within 45 days of hire.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; ALTA score 9 can yield differential compensation.

Responsibilities

• Perform intake assessments, develop program exemplars, and assist in collecting data for FBAs under supervision.
• Collect target behavior data, implement behavior reduction protocols, and apply alternative programs.
• Execute individualized programs to maintain and generalize skills and respond to challenging behaviors.
• Attend cross-system meetings and collaborate with treatment professionals.
• Collaborate with other technicians to improve service delivery.
• Complete required documentation in line with regulatory and funder expectations.
