Job summary

BY YOUR SIDE is seeking an entry-level Behavior Technician to deliver ABA therapy to children and young adults under supervision. The role includes data collection, implementing treatment plans, and travel between center, home, and community settings.

Starting pay is $22 per hour with full-time and part-time opportunities. Benefits include paid training, PTO, and career development. Evening/weekend work may be required as schedules vary by client needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree and/or enrolled in psychology, communication disorders, education or related field preferred.
• High interest and willingness to learn about autism.
• Eagerness to learn about Applied Behavior Analysis and grow as a Behavior Technician.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety and infection control standards.
• Knowledge of sensory and behavioral strategies, preferred.
• Ability to communicate proactively, timely, effectively with clients, parents, and team.
• Ability to work with changing priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
• Professionalism in communication, timeliness and preparedness.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 or small group therapy under supervision.
• Maintain targeted caseload hours of therapy per week.
• Collect data on target behaviors during sessions.
• Implement treatment plans across centers, homes and community environments.
• Travel to home and community as required.
• Assist with assessments under supervision when trained.
• Maintain records of client performance and billing.
• Participate in meetings and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Support daily operations and session materials preparation.
