Job summary

AKABA is hiring an ABA Therapist / Behavior Technician in Massachusetts to provide in-home ABA services under supervision of a BCBA. You will engage children with special needs and support families for effective collaboration.

The role offers flexible scheduling, paid orientation, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for growth as you build rapport with clients and expand your skill set in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Valid Driver's License (Required)
• Friendly, energetic, and enjoys working with individuals with special needs
• Experience working with children
• Ability to attend an initial orientation
• Timely and organized
• Ability to work independently
• Proven ability to communicate effectively within a variety of situations

Responsibilities

• Creating a fun and engaging learning environment
• Working under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
• Working with families for effective collaboration
• Submitting all required paperwork in a timely manner
• Electronic Data collection
• Implementing individualized behavior support plans
• Implementing skill acquisition programs

Required

• Must have reliable, personal transportation
• Must have a Driver's License
• Must be able to work at least 10 hours per week (mostly afterschool hours between 2-8 PM)
• Must have High School Diploma/GED
• Some Saturday availability is preferred but not required.

• Pay starts at $20.00 - $23.00 per hour with increases of $1-$3 in the first 3-6 months.

• Case matching: 1-2 regularly assigned clients with whom you can build rapport with over time
• Supportive Environment with Ongoing Training and BCBAs with smaller/limited caseload

Travel time pay and mileage reimbursements are available (when applicable).
