Job summary

Community Autism Services, a division of The Stepping Stones Group, urgently hires Behavior Technicians for part-time roles in home, school and community settings in Van Nuys, CA, with comprehensive paid ABA training.

The team offers ongoing career support and advancement, plus paid RBT certification training and mileage reimbursement as you travel between client visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Child Development, or related field.
• Part-time availability starting 3:00pm and flexible for those juggling between school!
• Able to commute up to 5-20 miles or 30-45 minutes
• Childcare experience required
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment services to children diagnosed with autism, conducting sessions in homes, schools, or the community.
• Instruct clients on communication, play, socialization, and fostering independence under supervision.
• Collect, organize, and summarize behavioral data toward treatment goals.
• Maintain 6-month attendance commitment and timely communication.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Job Duties

• Deliver direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment services to children diagnosed with autism, conducting sessions in various settings such as their homes, schools, or within the community.


• Work under the guidance of a program supervisor, instructing clients on essential skills such as communication, play, socialization, and fostering greater independence. In addition, Behavior Technicians assist in addressing challenging behaviors.


• Duties also include collecting, organizing, and summarizing behavioral data related to the child's treatment goals.


• 6-month commitment to consistent and dependable attendance, as well as responsive and timely communication, is essential to the role.
