Job summary

QSAC is seeking a dedicated Behavior Intervention Specialist to conduct assessments, develop behavior support plans, and train DSPs within the Day Habilitation program across Queens Village, Jamaica, Astoria, and Manhattan locations.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a human services field, ABA experience, and a valid driver’s license, with a salary range of $52,000 to $60,000 annually. Join a mission-driven nonprofit serving individuals with autism and their families.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in human services or related field required.
• 1–2 years ABA experience preferred.
• General knowledge of behavioral analysis and goal development.
• Experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities/autism required.
• Clean, valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate active treatment services per OPWDD regulations.
• Develop, monitor and assess monthly goals to support Life Plans.
• Write and revise individual goals; supervise DSP implementation.
• Maintain clinical paperwork per NY State OPWDD rules.
• Provide written goal summaries and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.
