Job summary

WellSpan Health in York, PA is seeking a licensed Behavior Specialist to conduct descriptive and systematic behavioral assessments and design supervision-ready interventions under BCBA supervision. This role involves teaching others to implement ethical ABA procedures and supervising non-certified Behavior Technicians in clinical settings.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, or another related field with Certificate in ABA.
• 1 year experience providing ABA services under BCBA supervision.
• Licensed Behavioral Specialist upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Engages in functional assessments of problematic behaviors and analyzes environmental variables.
• Collects and analyzes data to inform treatment decisions and designs research-based goals.
• Oversees training and fidelity of interventions for family members and staff.
• Provides direct supervision for behavior technicians (BT).
• Collaborates with treatment teams to ensure continuity and effectiveness of interventions.
• Maintains written/electronic documentation and program billable requirements.
• Attends treatment team meetings and related trainings as assigned.
