Job summary

Washington County Mental Health Services (WCMHS) is seeking a Behavioral Consultant to support children and youth facing emotional and behavioral challenges, helping them succeed at home, school, and in the community.

Under supervision of a BCBA or senior staff, you will assess needs, develop individualized support plans, and guide teams in implementing evidence-based ABA practices with families, educators, and professionals.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with relevant coursework or substantial experience in an ABA-based program, or enrollment in a graduate program meeting BACB coursework requirements for BCBA eligibility.
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis principles and their practical application.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Proficiency in delivering services and documenting treatment in English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and direct behavioral assessments under supervision of a BCBA or senior staff.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and revise individualized behavior support plans.
• Manage or co-manage behavioral planning for an average of 10 cases.
• Train and supervise staff in the implementation and evaluation of behavior plans.
• Provide ongoing behavioral consultation to case managers and interdisciplinary teams.
• Offer consultation to families as directed.
• Participate in educational and clinical teams across school, community, and mental health settings.
