Regeneron is seeking an Associate Scientist in Viral Vector Technologies to support development of an antibody-retargeted AAV delivery platform at our Tarrytown, NY site. You will assist in production and screening of AAV libraries, collaborate with bioinformatics, and help optimize protocols for higher yield and efficiency.

The role emphasizes precise lab work, data organization, and cross-team coordination in a fast-paced, innovation-driven setting.

Qualifications

Experience in mammalian cell culture; virus or protein manipulation and purification.
Familiarity with molecular biology techniques; and maintaining accurate, up-to-date electronic lab records.
Familiarity with key antibody properties, viral vector production, automation, and relevant research software (e.g., Microsoft Office, GraphPad Prism, Benchling, MacVector) is preferred.

Responsabilités

Execute rAAV production workflows and characterize production runs.
Perform basic molecular biology and protein analysis techniques (e.g., cloning, SDS-PAGE, Western blotting, ELISA, DNA extractions, PCR, qPCR, protein chromatography).
Work closely with the bioinformatics team to organize data across screens.
Optimize AAV production protocols to enhance efficiency and yield.
Work collaboratively with other departments and team members to coordinate and execute planned productions and screens.
Participate in team meetings and prepare regular presentations for departmental meetings.
