  • Design AAV genomes and execute recombinant AAV (rAAV) production protocols to inform novel vector optimizations
  • Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot next-generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation workflows for screening and characterization applications
  • Partner with the bioinformatics team to analyze large NGS datasets
  • Prepare regular updates and presentations for team and departmental forums
  • Thrive in an innovative, highly collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Work rigorously with close attention to detail while balancing multiple projects

This role requires:

  • B.A./B.S. with 8+ years of relevant industry or academic experience, or M.S. in cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, antibody science, or a related field with 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in next-generation sequencing (NGS), including library preparation, optimization, troubleshooting, and quality assessment
  • Strong molecular biology experience, including DNA isolation, PCR-based methods, and plasmid cloning
  • Experience in mammalian cell culture and manipulation, and in the purification of viruses and/or proteins
