Job summary

Slope in San Francisco is seeking a Research Associate to establish and manage our AAV vector core. The role involves hands-on production of AAV for preclinical testing, requiring strong mammalian tissue culture skills and attention to detail.

You will produce high-quality vectors while ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to SOPs. Ideal candidates should have a background in biological sciences or engineering and a collaborative mindset to improve workflows.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with tissue culture.
• Experience with biologics production.
• Strong documentation habits in ELN or LIMS.

Responsibilities

• Run AAV production workflows from cell culture to purification.
• Perform QC assays to assess vector quality.
• Update SOPs and document deviations.
