Responsibilities

Math Services tutors work with a diverse group of students taking developmental and core curriculum courses in mathematics. Tutors participate in both pre‑semester and ongoing training and development to support their practice and professional growth. They actively advance a culture of accessibility and inclusivity throughout the AAC and the Bridgewater State University community.

Tutors report to the faculty director of Math Services.

Qualifications

Preferred: Highly dependable, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to equity and inclusion. A major in Mathematics or a related field is preferred but not required. Applicants must be currently enrolled as a full‑time or part‑time undergraduate student at BSU and must demonstrate proficiency in mathematics.
