Job summary

Insomniac Games is seeking a Visual Effects Art Intern to contribute to AAA game production. You will work with senior artists, creating and polishing VFX assets and optimizing effects for gameplay and cinematics.

You’ll gain hands-on experience using industry tools like Maya, Photoshop, Houdini, and proprietary tools, with mentorship from the team. During the 12‑week internship, you’ll learn Insomniac's VFX processes, participate in project milestones, and have the opportunity to earn a game

Qualifications

• Pursuing a relevant degree or equivalent.
• Experience with industry-standard tools is helpful.
• Strong foundational and production design skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and polish visual effects assets for gameplay and cinematics.
• Develop effects from scratch including materials, meshes, and particles.
• Set dress levels and cinematics with VFX to enhance storytelling.
