Job summary

Nimble Workforce in North Carolina is seeking a UI Artist to collaborate with UX Designers and the UI team to craft polished, player-facing UI for our AAA development partner.

You will transform wireframes into high-fidelity visuals, motion, and Unreal Engine implementation using UMG, while focusing on visual craft rather than engineering.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of experience, a strong portfolio, and fluency with Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and the Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional UI design experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating AAA-quality UI work.
• Experience translating wireframes into polished visuals.
• Experience implementing UI in a game engine (Unreal preferred).
• Strong understanding of layout, typography, iconography, and interaction design.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to craft AAA UI experiences.
• Translate wireframes and UX flows into high-fidelity visuals.
• Create mockups, style guides, design systems, and iconography.
• Design menus, HUD elements, and player-facing UI.
• Create UI motion, animation, and transitions.
• Implement final UI in Unreal Engine using UMG.
• Maintain consistency across the UI/UX experience.
