Job summary

AAA is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to promote memberships, insurance referrals, and financial products while assisting customers with travel planning and services at 321 Southwind Road, Manhattan, KS. You will handle roadside assistance inquiries and support cashiering and ID services as part of a collaborative team.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and the ability to navigate multiple systems in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills - ability to build trust and explain value clearly.
• Comfortable navigating multiple systems in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous sales experience is a plus.
• Basic geography knowledge is a plus.
• Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• Satisfactory pre-employment and post-employment screenings including criminal, drug, and state/vendor-specific checks.

Responsibilities

• Promote and recommend AAA memberships, insurance referrals, and financial products.
• Assist customers with travel planning including hotels, car rentals, and vacation packages.
• Manage and respond to Roadside Assistance calls throughout the day.
• Support team operations by helping with cashiering, tag and title services, and ID services as needed.

• Hourly Pay: $14 – $18 hourly. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law.
• Monthly Incentive Opportunity: Average $162 – $389 in bonus earnings per month based on individual performance.

  • Monday to Friday, 9AM to 5:30PM, and Saturday, 9AM to 1PM; 37.5 Hour Work Week

What You’ll Do as a Retail Sales Associate

You will play an important role in delivering value to AAA members while supporting overall sales performance:

• Consistently promote and recommend AAA memberships, insurance referrals, and financial products
• Assist customers with travel planning including hotels, car rentals, and vacation packages
• Manage and respond to Roadside Assistance calls continuously throughout the day
• Contribute to team operations by helping with cashiering, tag and title services, and ID services as needed
