Job summary

AAA Central Penn is seeking a results-driven Insurance Sales Agent in Harrisburg, PA. The role offers a hybrid schedule, competitive hourly pay plus commission, and the chance to grow with a trusted AAA brand protecting members’ homes, vehicles, and families.

You will generate leads, maintain a robust pipeline, make at least 50 prospecting calls weekly, and strive for a 33% close rate while educating customers on personal lines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven success in the insurance industry.
• Active Pennsylvania Property & Casualty and Life & Health Licenses.
• Strong sales mindset with a track record of achieving results.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust quickly.
• Detail-oriented with a customer-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Generate and develop leads through member base, walk-ins, phone, internet, and networking.
• Manage and actively maintain a pipeline of prospects.
• Conduct a minimum of 50 prospecting calls per week and track activity.
• Meet or exceed key performance goals, including a 33% closing rate.
• Quote and sell personal lines insurance products while educating customers.
• Support complex service needs in partnership with Client Service Agents.
• Ensure compliance and protect customer confidentiality.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities across AAA products and services.

This position requires regular travel for business purposes. Employees who drive must maintain a valid driver's license, a satisfactory driving record, and insurance coverage that meets company requirements.
