Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking an Airframe Design Liaison Engineer to join the engineering department in Mobile, AL. You will bridge shop-floor manufacturing with global Airbus design offices, delivering structural solutions while maintaining safety and airworthiness across primary and secondary structures.

The role operates at the FAL, flight line, and delivery center, requiring strong technical judgment and collaboration with transnational teams. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in aircraft structure design engineering.
• Willing to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Author, validate, and authorize technical solutions, repair drawings, rework instructions, and design datasets for primary/secondary structures.
• Ensure compliance with Aircraft Safety, Airbus Design Principles, and airworthiness requirements.
• Provide on-site structures engineering support from initial section delivery to final delivery flight.
