Job summary

Airbus is seeking a dedicated Business Unit Manager to lead the A320 Completions team’s engine and storage work packages. You will ensure all processes are on time, within quality standards, and on budget across Airbus and international authorities.

The role emphasizes leadership, budget control, and continuous improvement to achieve a fully operational ground engine for the A320 family. The position requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering or related fields and at least 10 years of

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration or equivalent working experience.
• 10+ years of experience in aerospace or industrial manufacturing, with a strong focus on production management, assembly lines (FAL), or engine/component integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead a functional team of 6 indirect staff members.
• Manage subcontracted and consulting budgets (e.g., 8M€ Storage, 3M€ Engine activities).
• Guarantee effectiveness and efficiency of all operational processes from Engine/Storage start to Final Operational Transfer.
• Deliver a fully operational ground engine meeting cost, time and quality targets for the A320 Completions.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Engineering to develop cost-saving concepts.
