Job summary

Breeze Airways seeks seriously nice Captains to work at the newest and nicest airline. Pilots ensure safe, on-time flight operations in accordance with FARs and company policies, keeping airworthiness and weather factors in mind.

Captains supervise crewmembers, coordinate with dispatch, verify load manifests and passenger counts, and communicate clearly with passengers during the flight. A strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years old at hire.
• FAA Unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate, airplane multi-engine.
• 3,000 hours fixed wing time.
• 2,000+ hours total time in large, Group II transport category aircraft.
• 500+ hours PIC in large, Group II transport category aircraft.
• 500+ hours of US FAA Part 121 PIC time in last 3 years.
• Active flying status in two of the past five years.
• Current First-Class FAA Medical Certificate.
• Valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.
• Driver’s license and passport.
• Ability to read/write/speak English.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safe and timely flight operations in accordance with FARs.
• Operates assigned flights after verifying airworthiness and weather/conditions.
• Supervises and enroutes performance of crewmembers.
• Maintains proficiency in flight operations and systems.
• Reviews departure weather, load manifests, and passenger counts.
• Communicates with dispatcher and crew regarding schedule changes.
