Job summary

Airbus Americas is seeking a Cabins Structures Assembler for the A220 program on the Mobile, AL site. This 2nd shift contract role focuses on cabin installation, including wiring, seating, sidewalls, and cargo assemblies, with emphasis on safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate will have strong aviation production experience, ability to work independently or in a team, and a willingness to train and mentor others in Airbus production methods.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum experience in Aviation Production or equivalent including cabin/interior installation.
• 5+ years minimum experience in Aviation Production.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at work on time with the right mindset and be ready to work and compliant with all safety requirements.
• Complete allocated tasks on Time and on Quality.
• Understand the build process and specifications within the cabin installation Station.
• Work in compliance with production work orders and supporting documents (e.g. Quality standards, drawings and SOI's).
• Sign off work when tasks are completed.
• Complete installation of A220 Cabin - Seats, sidewall, carpet, cargo, lavatories, stowage bins, and ceiling panels.
• Perform standard work including wire harness and electrical component installation and cabin furnishings assembly of the A220 aircraft.
