Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a hospital-based interventional cardiologist for locum tenens coverage in Richmond, VA, with on-call from 7am to 7am and possible inpatient rounding.

Coverage requested 5-6 days per month; required skills include PTCA, stents, caths, echo, stress and EKG. Nuclear and TEE experience is a plus. Weatherby provides malpractice insurance, prepaid travel and housing, and 24-hour consultant support.

Qualifications

• PTCA, stents, caths, echo, stress and EKG are required.
• Nuclear and TEE experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based interventional cardiology duties as assigned.
• On-call for emergent cases 7am to 7am with possible inpatient rounding.
• Document and coordinate patient care through Weatherby’s portal.
