Job summary

Yale School of Art is seeking a dedicated staff member to oversee the Equipment Loan Office (ELO). You will be the school’s subject matter expert for digital recording and presentation, manage inventory and budgets, and provide training to student workers.

The role reports to the Digital Technology office and supports 35 classrooms during term-time. Responsibilities include front-line AV support, equipment setup, and escalation of issues.

Qualifications

• Six years of related work experience or equivalent education in a related field.
• Proven experience in managing AV equipment and inventories.
• Strong customer service and training delivery abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic instruction and assistance for staff and students in using AV equipment.
• Execute AV service requests for classroom and event support.
• Set up and troubleshoot AV systems and maintain equipment quality.
• Manage inventory, budgeting, and purchasing for the ELO and classrooms.
• Train undergraduate workers and supervise ELO operations during hours.
• Maintain databases of users, late fees, and rental records.
