Job summary

New Era Technology seeks an A/V Conferencing Technology Specialist to ensure audiovisual, multimedia, and computing systems are operational at client sites. You will assist with setup and operation of systems for conferences and events, and provide AV engineering, service, and training to clients.

This role requires strong client focus, knowledge of Cisco/Polycom videoconferencing, and AV control systems. CTS certification is preferred; visa sponsorship is not available at this time.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years industry experience in client-facing technical support role.
• Knowledge of Cisco or Polycom videoconferencing systems.
• Knowledge of audio/visual control systems and components.
• Strong client and service focused mindset and excellent listening skills.
• Proficient in troubleshooting issues related to AV systems and conference rooms.

Responsibilities

• Ensure audiovisual, multimedia, and computing systems are operational.
• Assist with setup and operation of audiovisual, multimedia, and computing systems for conferences and events.
• Provide AV engineering, service, maintenance and operational support for the facility.
• Monitor systems, diagnose issues, and notify client of deficiencies.
• Coordinate videoconference requests and schedule ad-hoc calls.
• Train clients on AV systems and update documentation as needed.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to company policies.
