A bumper-to-bumper, master-certified technician capable of diagnosing and repairing any system of the automobile without supervision. In most cases, they are leaders in the shop and are chosen to support the development of other technicians when needed. At times, they may be called upon to interface with customers in various capacities.

Hyundai welcomes experienced technicians from other OEMs. The program allows technicians with training from an industry-recognized source, other than Hyundai, to test out of certain Hyundai instructor-led technical training courses, provided they meet specific requirements.
A technician who can perform common light-duty services or repairs efficiently.
An "entry-level" technician: Capable of oil changes, tire rotations, completing minor services, tire and battery replacements, etc. Can perform most tasks that do not require in-depth diagnostics or complex mechanical skills, with guidance as needed upon researching work instructions or after being taught the proper techniques first.
