Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Production Supervisor for A Shift in the United States. You will guide a team to meet daily production orders, uphold quality and yield, and maintain a safe workplace while complying with USDA standards.

You will oversee line operations, coordinate training and retention, record-keeping, and cross-team collaboration to resolve production issues. Relocation and comprehensive benefits are available; background checks may apply.

Qualifications

• Meat manufacturing experience required, preferably pork or beef.
• Minimum 1 year in a supervisory or team-lead role.
• High school diploma required; additional training preferred.
• Basic computer skills and data entry ability.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Travel up to 5 trips per year.

Responsibilities

• Review daily production orders to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
• Oversee morning exercises and job rotation to support ergonomics.
• Ensure machinery operates at peak performance and troubleshoot as needed.
• Verify workstations meet USDA inspection standards.
• Promote a safety culture through daily practices and monthly safety meetings.
• Oversee shipping, inventory rotation, and product coding.
• Mentor, train, and retain team members; communicate policies clearly.
