Deckers Brands is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to perform skilled maintenance, modification and repair on conveyors, heavy equipment and facilities. The role requires working with AC/DC controls, PLCs, pneumatics, and up to 480 volts, with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting as core duties.
The position supports a Mon-Fri 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM schedule at our Midwest Distribution Center in the US.

The Role The Maintenance Tech IIperforms a variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, modification and repair activities in assigned maintenance operational areas which may include buildings, conveyors, electrical and performs related work as required. The job will entail preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of heavy industrial manufacturing equipment and facilities. This position will be working with AC/DC controls, PLC controlled equipment, pneumatics and with voltage of up to 480 volts. Manage minor projects. Provide training to lower grade levels. The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to: Under minimal supervision perform skilled and semi-skilled facility maintenance activities including patching and painting walls, patching floors, replacing lights, repair racking, office furniture moves, and setups and other facilities related tasks. Under minimal supervision perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance activities to include troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance on conveyor equipment. Document all work order activities including labor, parts and inventory used and closing of work orders to provide documented records of the maintenance performed. Follow lockout-tag out procedures, confined space procedures and other safety and environmental procedures and policies as required.
