Job summary

Amentum seeks certificated Airframe & Powerplant technicians for independent work at a central maintenance facility or off-site field locations in California. You will inspect and repair aircraft, engines, and components, assess damage and determine repair methods, and travel to fire bases as required.

The role requires FAA A&P certificates, a CA Class-C license, and 5 years of aerospace experience with at least 2 years on C-130 aircraft, with travel 10%–50% across the state.

Qualifications

• Possession of FAA A&P certificates and a valid California Class-C driver’s license.
• Five years aerospace industry work experience as a certificated A&P Technician.
• Two years of experience working on C-130 aircraft; military experience may qualify.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair aircraft, engines, components and systems and assess for damage and repair method.
• Work independently and off-site at outlying field locations or base as assigned.
• Perform depot level and field maintenance to ensure airworthiness.
