CAE USA Inc. in Alabama seeks an A&P Mechanic to maintain the aircraft at the assigned location, performing maintenance, inspections, repairs, and servicing in accordance with FAA regulations and CAE policies.

The role requires an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license, 3 years of experience, ability to read technical documents and electrical schematics, and knowledge of aircraft systems. Domestic/international travel may be required; a safety-focused work environment is provided.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license with no violations or enforcement actions.
• 3 years’ experience as an A&P Mechanic.
• Knowledge of 14 CFR Parts 91 and 43.
• Ability to read technical documents, electrical schematics and drawings.
• Able to read standard office software programs.
• Operational knowledge of aircraft systems.
• Turbine powered aircraft experience desirable.
• Inspection Authorization (IA) desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Perform aircraft maintenance and related functions at assigned location.
• Perform sheet metal and composite repairs.
• Perform avionics and electrical system troubleshooting, replacement and repair.
• Perform aircraft towing operations.
• Servicing all aircraft systems.
• Recovery of disabled aircraft to include off site locations as required.
• Service ground support equipment and perform preventive maintenance inspections on all ground support equipment.
• Perform functional checks, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications, overhaul, paint and preservation of ground support equipment, special tools, and accessories.
• Ensure a safe and secure work environment is maintained.
• Other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Aircraft Maintenance Manager.
• Domestic and international travel as required.
