Job summary

Gwinnett Technical College at Alpharetta and Lawrenceville campuses seeks an Educational Aide for the Anatomy and Physiology Open Lab. This 19-hour, part-time, non-benefited, non-exempt role reports to the Coordinator of Science Labs.

The position supports student learning by supervising lab activities, enforcing policies, and assisting with lab maintenance and exam setup. Candidates should be able to work two Saturdays per semester and manage priorities within the 19-hour weekly limit.

Qualifications

• Must have completed Anatomy and Physiology I and II courses.
• Preferred: completed at Gwinnett Technical College with a B or better.
• Ability to communicate with students and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with learning in the Open Lab.
• Enforce lab policies and supervise students.
• Support the Open Lab Coordinator with daily lab operations.
• Follow safety protocols and lab procedures.
• Coordinate exam setup and schedule two Saturdays per semester.
• Respond to student issues in collaboration with faculty.
