Job summary

Lanier Technical College is seeking an Adjunct Anatomy & Physiology Instructor to join our team. This part-time, non-benefits eligible role will teach across campus locations, with day and evening classes available.

The position reports to the Associate Dean of General Education and requires a Master’s degree or equivalent in biology or medical fields. The instructor will prepare syllabi, deliver instruction, evaluate student progress, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Biology or medical field with appropriate coursework from a regionally accredited college.
• Alternative: Master’s with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in subject-related coursework from a regionally accredited college.
• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Chiropractic degree is acceptable.
• Ability to work well with a diverse student body in classroom and supervisory settings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach classes as assigned based on approved course syllabus.
• Develop curriculum and syllabus for coursework taught.
• Evaluate students’ progress toward goals and objectives.
• Administer and grade examinations and maintain records of grades.
• Attend in-service training, workshops, and seminars as needed.
• Ensure safety and security requirements are met in training areas.
• Meet all deadlines assigned by Supervisor and coordinate with students and staff.
